As the name states, this is a thoroughly "professional" 19-fret tenor banjo with all nickelplated hardware. This banjo set the standard for the Dixieland band. Complete with all original parts including Planetary Tuners, flamed pie-plate resonator and individual flanges. Original stamped "Vegaphone Professional" engraved tailpiece. Usual wear including scratching on back of resonator/neck/peghead. Maple neck has a bound ebony fingerboard, with original (medium pitting) frets; some smalls cracks in fine playing, all around versatile banjo. Includes chipboard guitar case for shipping purposes.
