Unsigned German Violin

  • AS IS Condition
  • Year: circa 1900s
  • Includes Hard Shell Case

An unsigned dark stained violin likely produced in the early 20th century in Germany; the instrument was restored at some point, but actually plays and sounds decently. Flamed maple ribs and back, with spruce top; back and sides were off at some point and reglued with rough edges; many repaired cracks and cosmetic wear. The maple neck has a thin ebony fingerboard and was evidently reset (shim beneath fingerboard, and large notches on either side at heel). Includes old hard case.
