A rich sounding unmarked fiddle likely made in Germany; repair stamp of Rochester-based luthier Bert Goodwin from 1926 present inside. Flamed maple construction on the back and sides, straight grained spruce top w/ long repaired top crack; age typical dings, scuffs, and scrapes...also wear on edges; no other cracks to speak of. Maple neck w/ ebony fingerboard, equipped with ebony pegs.
