Well-built, likely of German or Czech origin, Stradivarius copy featuring all solid wood construction; very open and loud sounding..a powerful fiddle. The top is spruce, and the back and sides were made from flamed maple; one well repaired top crack on left of tailpiece. The maple neck suffered a cracked heel at some point, and a shim was placed beneath the ebony fingerboard. Some cosmetic wear present, but a fine player.
