AS/IS; an excellent candidate for restoration, this is an unmarked flat-back mandolin that was likely made in Chicago. The instrument has a spruce top that was bound in marquetry (as is soundhole), w/ laminate rosewood back and sides (marquetry center strip). The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard w/ inset geared tuners. Missing one back brace, and frets are very uneven.
