We are pleased to feature such an interesting and well priced Harp Guitar from Timberline, used, but in next to new condition with the added flexibility of a pair of K&K pickups. With a goal of producing the world's finest hand–finished fretted instruments at their respective price points, Timberline plays close attention to modern techniques of production and process while paying respectful homage to the great guitar designs of the past. The T20HGc is a high quality 100% solid wood entry-level harp guitar that is available at a surprisingly affordable price. This instrument comes to us in next to new condition from its previous owner. Well maintained, it shows hardly any signs of use - less the two nicely added K&K pickups. Traditional guitarists will appreciate and be wowed by this instruments exceptional build quality and simple aesthetics. Built out of solid tropical mahogany (top back and sides), this guitar has a nice warmth that compliments finger style playing beautifully. Its 44mm nut width is a hair more narrow than a 1 3/4" steel string - making it familiar for most steel string players. It is constructed with a 24.9" scale length, and a forward scalloped X bracing - resulting in a resonant and loud soundboard. The harp portion is tuned diatonic to a low G (G,A,B,C,D,G) and is surprisingly easy to navigate for any beginner looking to express on its harp portion. A nicely balanced tone between both "sections"of the instrument - the players right hand approach does not need to adapt much to begin getting some familiarity. Two K&K pickups have been installed, each with their own outputs - one for the harp portion and one for the guitar. Using any two channel amplifier with separate volume and tone controls will allow the player to further detail and explore the sonic possibilities. Comes with the original soft shell case.
