This is an unusual 5 string resonator banjo that was made custom made by Mark Taylor, the former proprietor of Crafters of Tennessee. It’s a gold plated presentation banjo in near mint condition. It is a signature model, which at the time was selling for around $8,000. Despite the difficulties at the "Crafter’s" company, this instrument was handmade by Mark and his son. It is of exceptional quality, gold plated, highly ornate with the finest, curly maple. It is a presentation quality Bluegrass banjo with a sound to match. It features a one piece flange and a flat head tone ring and it’s better than any modern "Granada" style instrument that I’ve had my hands on….now only
