Prior to being acquired by Fender in 2004, Tacoma Guitars of Tacoma, WA were putting out some very innovative and very good sounding instruments, like this AJF22CE5 (their model names could have used some help).
This 17" archtop based on Tacoma's 'Chief' line of guitars features a solid CNC-carved Sitka spruce top, solid CNC-carved maple back and sides, A-frame bracing instead of the more traditional X-frame bracing of conventional acoustics, an offset "paisley" soundhole, and a specially-designed EMG floating humbucker with hidden pick guard controls. Wow!
Cosmetically, this guitar is like-new with the exception of the peeling finish on the headstock, which is a factory defect (this happened to many Tacoma guitars).
Deluxe hardshell Datt brand case (built in Vancouver, B.C.) included with sale!
