This humble banjo packs a lot of punch for a small 17 fret tenor! Made by Sterling, presumably a Slingerland branch, means this is a budget banjo for any beginner looking for a great instrument to learn on. The banjo has the original calfskin head, which has no rips or tears. There are no geared tuners on this banjo, but the friction tuners work perfectly with the low tension irish tuned strings on the instrument. The head measures in at 10 3/4" with a 21 inch scale length. No case included
