One of the most powerful tenor banjos we have encountered, this is a Geoff Stelling Whitestar 19 fret tenor banjo, a rarely seen example of the builder's precision and artistry present on a tenor. The 11" 3-ply walnut rim is bound on either edge of the rim edge, and is equipped with a short profile no hole tonering; one piece nickel plated flange, tailpiece, and armrest all stamped with maker's name; gorgeous fully bound flamed maple resonator. The 19 fret maple neck has a 22" scale ebony fretboard with 1-3/16" wide nut; snowflake pearl inlay pattern on board, with pearl truss rod cover and peghead inlay; equipped with Waverly geared tuners. In fine fine shape, some very small cosmetic finish dings present throughout; no cracks or repairs. Includes original hard case.
