This instrument’s design pays homage to the simple and elegant instruments made for players enduring the Great Depression of 1929. Vintage inspired appointments include sitka spruce scalloped bracing, a period correct script style logo done tastefully in Ivoroid and beautifully executed Ebony pyramid bridge, bridge pins, tuner buttons, head-plate and fretboard. The rosette in a rich tortoise ring nestled in a vintage Ivoroid border. The instrument is an extremely light build, and has a full sound with a quick attack and low action.
This one comes to us used and well played. It has quite a few nicks in the finish, mostly on the binding along the sides. There is some slight buckle rash on the back. The headstock at one point was broken, but was professionally and beautifully repaired. It comes to us equipped with a Fishman pickup installed, as well as a D'Addario ClipFree Tuner. Certainly a versatile guitar with an abundance of character. Comes with the original case that has seen some minor damage to the lower bout area of the case.
