Extremely rare top tension banjo hand crafted by Harry Lane. The instrument is all walnut and is trimmed w/ abalone throughout. Less than 40 of these instruments were made according to Mr. Lane. Very flat neck profile, no radius, fancy pearl inlays present on ebony fretboard and on peghead overlay. Equipped with a Gibson-style armrest, five-string Oettinger-style tailpiece bearing Richelieu; set-up w/ a Huber head, and bridge. Mis-matched Planetary style tuners, pearloid buttons on bottom, engraved ebony buttons on top. In fantastic condition small notch on interior resonator wall. Incredibly protective hardcase, with interior gig bag.
