Single-luthier made archtop guitar from Wisconsin luthier Robert Cathey (1933-2020), who built this guitar for himself, and we are told further insprired the maker's instrument output in the early 2000s. Solid spruce top and quilted maple back and sides, 8-ply binding on the top and back and bound ebony fretboard w/ 25-1/4" scale. Ebony adjustable bridge, tailpiece, and ebony peghead overlay w/ maker's name on top. Sunburst and shellac finish. Comes with hardshell case. 17" lower bout and 1-3/4" nut.
