Wow! Happy to showcase this very stunning Archtop from a limited run by Paul Reed Smith in 2008. This full hollow body features a 17" lower bout with a nice 1 7/8" "thinline" body depth - making it very comfortable. Attractive fully carved Flame Maple, is accented by its tobacco sunburst finish, maple binding, & gold hardware. This guitar has a 25.4" scale length and a speedy set neck with a beautifully contoured heel. The neck is a comfortable C profile with a 1 11/16" nut width. It measures .87" thick at the first position and .95" at the tenth position before the curvature of the heel. The action is nice and balanced measuring about 5/64" in height at the twelfth fret with room in either directions on the thumb screws of the bridge. There is plenty of life left in the frets, but there is very slight even wear. Sonically, this guitar is full and robust and presents like a high end Archtop should. Simple electronics let the acoustic qualities of this guitar shine. It features two PRS Archtop pickups. This is an excellent collector quality instrument. Comes with the original hardshell case.
