This model features a 12" maple rim w/ brass Dobson tonering; all aged brass hardware is made by sister-company Balsam Banjo Works, including Hawktail tailpiece, and Schall style shoes; custom Mulheron bridge. The maple neck matches the rim wonderfully, and features a striking fingerboard of persimmon wood w/ "standard" 26-3/16" scale length (matching peghead overlay and heel cap); marquetry peghead inlay in Paddle Star style. A joy to play, this neck features the builder's "Vintage" heel profile, and is also scooped after the 17th fret.
