An early guitar by luthier Ron Pinkham, who is known for his high end builds and restorations; the guitar borrows design elements from classical instruments, and reminds us of guitars built by Gurian. Indian rosewood back and sides, X-braced Red Cedar top, rosewood pickguard; original ebony bridge. The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard, 25.5" scale length, 1-3/4" wide nut; equipped with Schaller geared tuners. Recent, nicely done neck reset yields nice low action measuring a hair under 6/64" in height at the twelfth fret. Replaced bridge and bridge pins. The guitar has a nice small body warmth perfectly set for finger style playing. Nice clarity and defined low end with singing trebles.
A nice TKL case is included in the sale.
