"Piano Volume - Harp Quality - Tone" reads the original NY badge on this Paramount / Lange Tenor. This banjo falls in the middle of the Paramount line. It is constructed with a walnut neck, rim and resonator all of which are in good shape. The neck has very mild forward relief, but plays well up and down, with overall light fretwear. The metal parts are gold plated and finely engraved pearl adorn the peghead and fingerboard. The gold has been touched up in certain spots. Complete with "hot dog" armrest. Original tailpiece is present. The tuners have been replaced. It is outfitted with a clear head, and a maple bridge with inserts. Repaired Heel crack present, and overspray / refinish throughout. The patent number and original badge are in great shape, and present on the interior of the rim. Comes with recent gig bag.
