Made in Holland, this Orpheum branded violin bass in need of some TLC. Truly a byproduct of 1960s Beatlemania, this bass is in many ways a "copy of a copy", sharing many EKO-specific design features (chunky ornamental headstock..etc) of the Italian company's more famous Hofner violin bass copy. Complete and original, the bass is experiencing some electronics/setup issues, along with structural concerns like missing fingerboard chunks, neck relief, surface cracks, finish dings and checking. This bass originally came with an endpin, which is missing. Includes later gig bag (zippers do not completely close on upper bout).
