Truly a jaw-dropper, this fine Ome banjo was custom ordered in 2011, and seldom played. A rare five string example from Ome's Wildflower series, this banjo is both incredibly ornate, and is equipped with gold plated Ome's Megatone 400 tonering. The lightly stained maple rim assembly has a gorgeous fully bound flamed maple resonator with delicate gold tinted carvings, gold plated and engraved metal parts including tailpiece, armrest, thumb screws. The one-piece bound neck is made from flamed maple, has a tinted carved heel and reverse of peghead, radiused ebony fretboard; gorgeous inlaid pearlwork is present on the peghead and down the fretboard, with detailed engravings.
