From the hey-day of the folkie days, this is an early Ode longneck built in Boulder, Colorado and conforms to specifications from the company's 1964 catalog. The 32-1/4" scale "Grade 2" neck is made of maple walnut and maple center strips, and the rosewood fingerboard has circular dot fretmarkers; scroll shaped peghead equipped with Grover rotomatics. The sturdy cast aluminium series thirty rim forms a flathead at the rim and employs Ode's "perforated tone chamber construction"; all original hardware from tension hoop, to hooks, to the chrome plated inertia tailpiece. Included in the sale is the original hardcase w/ original branded head. Some dings and scratches present. A nice player.
