A. Mongillo Flat Top

  • AS IS Condition
  • Year: circa 1920s
  • Includes Hard Shell Case

Unlike anything we've seen before, this is a flat-top guitar attributed to A. Mongillo that proudly features a six-on-side tuning arrangement on peghead. The body features mahogany back and sides, and a yellowed spruce top; fully bound and trimmed; ebony bridge; large label intact with Mulberry St., NYC address; side cracks, back cracks, and bridge crack present. The mahogany neck appears to have a pearwood fingerboard and was refretted and reset at some point. Included in sale is later reproduction coffin case
