Completed in April 2013 by Oregon based luthier Josh B. Humphrey, this octave mandolin features koa and cedar construction and features a fully resonating soundboard design (large X brace), and side sound port instead of central sound hole. 21" scale three-piece mahogany neck, 1-3/8" nut width, 1-3/4" string spacing on bridge. Outfitted with a custom brass tailpiece, antiqued engraved geared tuners. Exceptional projecting tone, sustain/ balance. Hand-rubbed oil varnish. Small pickwear on top, and extremely light surface scratching.
