A fine and solid 19 fret tenor made by Majestic in New York during the hey-day of the jazz age. The 10-15/16" diameter wooden rim assembly is made from walnut and features the 6/29/1920 patented perforated archtop tonering w/ single coordinating rod; interior of rim and rim cap appears to have been stripped of finish. The 19 fret 22-1/4" scale five-piece neck appears to be made from walnut as well and has an ebony fingerboard w/ pearl inlay pattern; neck appears to have been refretted and has little to no relief or fret wear; equipped with later geared tuners (extra holes from past tuners present). Banjo is in very good overall condition, hairline surface crack at heel on treble side, small crack on rim cap, and typical surface wear.
