A lovely Style C from Lyon & Healy, this example comes to us in good health and solid playability. A previously repaired crack, that likely didn't go all the way through is present. This appears to be expertly repaired, and actually is a bit hard to see, as the finish had also been touched up very well. It is truly a joy to play, as it comes to us with very easy low action. Cosmetically, this example is quite beautiful, with only very mild nicks present in the top. The original tailpiece is in great shape with no wear to the engraving. A nice simple flame is present in the back. Again, the old repair is present, but is quite hard to see without the aid of a black light. The finish on the peg head overlay veneer appears to have been touched up, superficially, again not noticeable without the aid of a black light. Frets are very clean, with only very mild wear present. The action is nice and low, measuring about 3/64" in height at the twelfth fret. 13.75" scale length. Original tuners function and hold their tune just as they should. Comes with the original hardshell case.
