Fine sounding ukulele made by Washburn in the 1930s; Washburn stamp and serial on back of peghead, Lyon & Healy stamp on back brace. Incredibly cute, this all mahogany wonder is shaped like a bell, and rings like one too. Bound top and back with raised ivoroid rosette, original mahogany bridge with small pins. Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, great playability. Lots of finish checking present and expected cosmetic wear, but no structural concerns. Original pointed chipboard case present, rare! (back has separated and is attached with tape).
