An acclaimed banjo ukulele favored by George Formby. Rim assembly is top-tension and features a walnut resonator; all original hardware (including bridge); some wear on resonator back. The three piece walnut neck has a new ebony fingerboard w/ new frets, and has been equipped with Gotoh geared ukulele tuners (originals present in case); instrument plays perfectly and stays in-tune; long lines of finish checking present on back of neck. Included in the sale is the period Geib case.
