LA Guitar Factory / Luke Lukuer Custom Chambered Electric

  • Very Good + Condition
  • Year: 1999
  • No Case

A special and unique one of a kind electric from luthier Luke Lukuer. According to Luke this instrument was built sometime in the late 90's, and was one of about 300 guitars he had built for the LA Guitar Factory. This is a super unique instrument, being fully chambered, with 24 frets and being equipped as a versatile shredder. It has a bolt on neck construction, and a symmetrical bout cut, for easy access into the highest register. This guitar is cosmetically in good shape but sports a black lacquer finish which has checked throughout. It has a bolt on neck with a 25.5" scale length, and a 1 9/16" nut width. It has low action, and a super slim C profile that measures .78" at the first position and .82" at the twelfth. It has a dual truss rod system accessible at the top of the headstock. It has Sperzel locking tuners. A souped up electronics setup, it is equipped with a Gibson '57 Classic in the neck position and two Dimarzio DP182's. The 3 knobs are all attached to push pull pots associated to it's unmarked 6V preamp, which could possibly require a rewire, but might be best left to it's next owner in case they wanted something more modern, currently it boosts the signal into a bit of drive on most amps. The first control is a master volume, and the two following are tone controls (the first to the neck pickup, the 2nd to the middle & bridge). It has a mini toggle underneath that splits the coils outputs. A very unique guitar to say the least - and will live a happy life on stage & in the studio. No case. 6.5 lbs
