A nice teardrop shaped Kay mandolin perfect for the beginner or as a second mandolin suitable for backpacking, trekking, or just sitting around. The body is bound on either edge, and is made from laminated curly maple with a sunburst finish; no pickguard (never had one) and maple bridge present. The neck has a rosewood fingerboard w/ brass frets, 1-1/8" nut width; instrument plays all the way up the neck; equipped with original tuners . STURDY PLUS!!
