Constructed by Baltimore-based luthier James Cox, this is a modern interpretation of a Violin d'amore and features curly maple construction throughout. The body has a flat back, with beveled edge; five strings on the neck, with five sympathetic strings channeling underneath the fingerboard; elongated pegbox (reverse tuning on upper portion). Rich tone, great sustain. Includes a custom built rectangular hard case.
