An exceptional concert instrument from Ignacio M. Rozas, who worked for Ramirez from 1959-69, Contreras from 1970-87, when he established his own workshop which operated until his retirement in 2008. This 2A was purchased new in 1994, then sold again in 2004, and is now offered again; used professionally for many years, this instrument is broken in and has a rich/dynamic sound. The back and sides are of Indian Rosewood, with a German spruce top; mosiac rosette, with rosewood bridge. The mahogany neck has a 650mm scale length ebony fingerboard, with 52mm nut width; some light finish wear is present on the back of the neck from devoted playing; equipped with gold-plated & engraved Fustero tuners. The top has a repaired center seam crack, and another next to it below A/D strings; surface scratching, and light play wear present on top as well.
