Beautiful one-owner Guild F-50 Blonde from Westerly R.I. circa 1972. Solid sitka top, with typical wear for it's age and some checking, and a beautiful laminate flamed maple back & sides. Very comfortable, slim neck profile, 1 11/16" nut width, ebony fingerboard with beautiful binding and inlay work. Binding around the edge of the neck has shrunk, and cracked in a few spots, but is not lifting. The guitar plays great with a straight neck and very low action, but the saddle has been shaved down - but still has some life left in it. Frets have some wear, but play well all the way up the neck. Original gold Grover tuners (plating worn on buttons). Lots of cosmetic wear (checking, scratching, and some chipping to bottom tail stip). This is an interesting piece as it fits both into collectors worlds, as well as many players, at a reasonable price for a quality American instrument. Comes with Original hardshell case.
