Purchased new in 2018, this Godin Multiac comes to us in great shape from its original owner. A step forward in the nylon string guitar, the Godin line of Multiac instruments have become flagships for the company - known for their comfort and vast sonic palette. This example is the Grand Concert, Duet Ambiance model - which features state- of-the-art custom electronics by Fishman, allowing the player to select between 4 individual mic settings. Choose between these blend-able sound imaging mics via the 4-way switch. The guitar’s design unites a larger body with a Solid Cedar top and a neck that joins the body at the twelfth fret. The 2″ nut width is slightly larger than the standard Multiac and more typical of the classical tradition. The result is the ultimate guitar for classical players who require an amplified sound.
This guitar plays just as it should and sounds great acoustically and through an amplifier. Cosmetically its very clean with some light surface wear near the electronics controls in the upper shoulder. The neck is nice and straight with clean fingerboard and frets, and yields nice playable action at about 6/64" in height at the twelfth fret - suitable for any classical or even electric player.
