Fantastic conversion of a rarely seen Gibson Tenor Lute (a Master Model instrument consisting of a tenor banjo neck on mandola body produced from 1924-26), to mandola employing new well built neck w/ truss rod and original peghead inlay; beautiful rich tone and easy to play. The body features a bound spruce top w/ black finish; replacement tailpiece, and original Gibson patent stamp bridge; some repaired back cracks near neck and heel blocks under new finish. The maple neck features slick pearl block inlay w/ 1-3/16" wide at nut; old geared tuners with pearl buttons. Includes custom built Armitage hard case. 13-7/8" scale
