Gibson's most simple mandolin banjo, this is an MB-JR from 1925. The 9" wooden rim has no tonering, and features original black finish; single coordinating rod; new hole added for tailpiece end bolt; some rust present on a few hooks. The maple neck has an extended ebony fingerboard; some forward relief on neck; original frets present and have been dressed; finish wear present on back of neck.
