Purchased from the original owner in the mid. 1960s, this pristine Gibson EB-1 "upright" bass guitar sat under the bed for decades, and has only changed hands once before now; completed original and un-modified, includes original hard case in fantastic condition, and telescoping endpin. All mahogany construction throughout, violin shaped body with painted on f-holes and purfling, factory hardware (pickguard, electronics, bridge); c shape neck with 30.5" scale length rosewood fingerboard, original frets with almost no wear, Firebird tuners w/ ink-stamped serial number on peghead. Condition-wise, this bass is fantastic; age-typical finish checking and wear present, and a few small dings.
