A fine sounding and playing example of the illusive Gibson A-3 model, which was produced with a white finish on the top for a short time only (1918-1923). The body is bound has mahogany back and sides; some finish dings and scratches on the top, and a nearly invisible back crack; original tailpiece, ivoroid pickguard w/ patented clamp. The mahogany neck has a bound ebony fingerboard; straight neck great player; past heel crack w/ reinforcement dowel through heel cap, very good work, totally solid; overspray present on neck and on back. Equipped with original tuners; some discoloration. Included in sale is the original hard case w/ case cover.
