An attractive player's Gibson A-1 model, dating circa 1913. The A style body has a dark, pumpkin top, finished wide grained spruce top, with red Michigan maple back and sides; well repaired crack on side near endpin, lots of cosmetic play wear, a few dings, some rough edges, light over spray on sides. The neck is fully bound with an ebony fingerboard, thin original frets with light wear. Some light forward relief, but easy to play with a good tone. Replaced bridge, missing tailpiece cover. Includes original case, which is in very rough shape only suitable for shipping.
