Theres really never been a decade where the Stratocaster wasn't the king of electric guitars. From Holly in the 50's, Hendrix in the 60's, Gilmour in the 70's, SRV in the 80's - and the list goes on and on. Capable of a multitude of styles, this 3 pickup giant, has defined, and will continue to define music for generations to come. Here we have a great example of an interesting era for Fender. 3 Tone Burst, with a very light real relic from over 40 years of existence. Bullet style 3-bolt neck, with micro-tilt adjustment is nice and straight with only mild fret wear. Slim C profile fits comfortable in the hand and has almost no wear. F stamped original tuners, all original bridge assembly and pot codes make this the real deal for anyone looking for a funky number. Original pickups, the bridge pickup has recently been rewound by master pickup repair-man Tom Brantley and is completely to spec.
Replaced period correct tone capacitor (original is included in the case).
