A rare one from the "modern" Squier catalog. Squier released these 20th Anniversary Jagmasters as a limited run in a very cool, very glam, silver sparkle. The finish immediately harkens back to classic drum wraps - finishes that immediately look cool under stage lighting. This is a unique instrument from Fender as the "Jagmaster" pays homage to the Jaguar and Jazzmaster body shapes, but is built with a Stratocaster style tremolo, and a 2 humbucker setup. This guitar is used, but in great playing condition. The body has some nicks throughout that are hard to see with its sparkle finish, but can be seen with close inspection. The pickguard shows some play wear. It is missing the switch tip to its pickup selector, and the knobs have been swapped for some pretty cool oversized black electronics knobs. The neck pickup has been swapped out to an unmarked humbucker that sounds pretty uniform with the Duncan Designed bridge pickup. The tremolo is currently set with three springs and floating, but one could easily dial it back and add more springs. The guitar plays very well with easy low action that measures about 4/64" at the twelfth fret, with a little bit of buzz. The frets are in good shape with hardly any wear. It is fitted with gold hardware that is pretty mismatched throughout, but has a great matched set of gold tuners that have heart shaped buttons. This is a rare guitar, and one that is certainly destined to be on stage.
