Fairbanks-Vega Whyte Laydie No. 7 featuring an 11.5" diameter rim assembly, 27" scale neck. Rim assembly is tortoise bound on either edge, marquetry on end cap; scalloped tonering; original hardware including notched tension hoop, No Knot tailpiece. Three-piece maple neck w/ deep heel carving; fancy highly-engraved pearl present on heel cap, fretboard, "fern" on peghead overlay; equipped with original gold-plated friction pegs w/ large pearl buttons. Neck plays and intonates well (small amount of age typical forward relief).
