The pearl inlay on fingerboard needs to be re-engraved and re-chased, frets show significant wear and should be replaced, binding is falling off on fifth string's edge/missing near fifth tuner, metal pip should be replaced w/ bone. The rim assembly is all original including marquetry rim cap, perforated Tubaphone tonering, and Elite tailpiece; some tarnish of metal parts is present. The maple neck has a large heel with detailed carving, long back strap; Style 9 peghead inlay, with griffon on back face; equipped with original gold plated friction tuners with large pearl buttons, replacement fifth tuner.
