Made in NY by the famous Epiphone Company, this is a player's example of a Recording A tenor guitar; lovely tone, with great playability...recent French Polish. Unique shape, the body design features a 13-7/8" wide lower bout, 9-3/4" upper bout, and has an overall body length of 20"; maple back and sides with a dark stained spruce top, single cutaway on treble side, with "hump" on bass side; original rosewood bridge present; repaired top cracks on right of soundhole. The maple neck has a 23" scale length rosewood fingerboard, 1-3/32" wide nut; engraved pearloid Epiphone peghead overlay...equipped with two-tab Grover tuners; some cosmetic wear present.
