Breathtaking bowlback from the shop of Frank-Peter & Markus Dietrich; the Dietrich family have been constructing instruments in Germany since the early 19th century. In the style of Italian master Luigi Embergher, this instrument is for sale from the family of the original owner, and is in nearly mint condition. The top was made using aged Alpine spruce and has an inlaid pickguard with scroll shape, multi binding, and rosette w/ fancy pearlwork; 28 scalloped ribs made from Indian Rosewood, gorgeous carvings on elevated skirt. The one-piece neck was made with mertani wood, has a 31 fret ebony fingerboard;Embergher "trademark" curved peghead with square pearl block; comfortable v-profile.
