Beautiful custom banjo from Dean Robinson, made in 2015. The 12" rim is made up of small curly maple blocks, with a wooden tonering, and walnut rim cap; very unique brilliantly constructed curly maple pie plate resonator that is removable via a single thumb screw through the rim's side; equipped with raw brass hardware. The neck is also of curly maple, and has a 25.5" scale length, with 1-3/8" nut width, with slight V profile. The fingerboard was fretted w/ EVO gold wire, with black & gold triangle inlays, and "craftsman rose" pattern of pearl and abalone into the ebony veneer. Very practical exposed truss rod at frailing scoop. Equipped with Gotohs. In great original condition, though there is some separation of some of the pie plates on back of resonator.
