Featuring exquisite construction and playability this guitar wears the D'Aquisto name with pride. This example comes from the Terada factory in Japan, dating to 2006. This New Yorker features a 17" full acoustic body, built of solid Sitka Spruce top and laminate flamed Maple back & sides. Not overly decorated, this guitar features a nice elegant light amber burst finish, which compliments the split MOP inlays and gold hardware and electronics. Sonically this guitar offers everything a jazzer would want, with a nice sweet acoustic tone, and a direct and articulate humbucker tone.
This example comes to us in excellent condition. Hardly any cosmetic wear is present in its thin finish, although there is a hair of binding shrinkage present on the back side cutaway, a small split in the binding on the pickguard - no structural issues present. Virtually no play wear in the frets or the ebony fingerboard. A nice straight neck with plenty of room on the saddle, this guitar plays with even low action. The neck profile is a C shape that feels comparable to most modern guitars but familiar for vintage guitar purists, measuring .86" thick at the first position and .95" thick at the twelfth. It has a 1 11/16" nut width. It has a 25.5" scale length.
Comes with the original red plush lined hardshell case, truss rod adjustment tool, polishing cloth and COA.
