Lovely American violin, made in Geneva, Ohio in 1933 by D. H. Marsh that has a fantastic resonance and depth. Though somewhat crudely made, the instrument has a beautiful one-piece flamed walnut back and sides, with a straight grained spruce top; past crack repairs on top, reglued seams at heel, and few small side crack repair; signs of overspray present throughout. Maple neck with ebony fingerboard, crude scroll.
