High quality build from Dr. David Cohen, Richmond VA, who is known for combining his love of science/design with his incredible skills as a traditional luthier. This lightweight mandola is striking, featuring a double point mandola body with quilted maple back and sides/finely grained spruce top, all in a nice red/yellow glossy sunburst. Ebony tailpiece, adjustable bridge, and cap on tailpiece, with rope marquetry rosette. The 16.5" scale two piece maple neck meets the body around the 11th fret, and has a 1-5/16" nut width. Includes custom Cedar creek hard case.
