Simply astounding. These highly regarded, Cordobas Master Series guitars always impress beyond expectation - and at a price point that is very reasonable for handmade, boutique quality. This guitar comes to us having been used for less than a year, originally specially ordered through our shop. With current build times being over a year out - this is a fantastic way to skip the line. This example has everything one would expect from a high grade classical that will likely appreciate with time. Cordoba truly captured the incredible build design made by Hermann Houser, made popular by Segovia. Sustain & balance are the first two words that come out of my jaw dropped mouth when playing virtually any note up and down the neck. Modern players will appreciate the dual action truss rod & purists will appreciate Cordobas 7 fan bracing which harkens back to Hauser's famed 1937 build. All solid construction, with an Englemann Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back & sides. Spanish cedar neck, with an ebony fingerboard, this example has a slightly slimmer nut width measuring about 51.5mm, and is constructed with an expected 650mm scale. An instrument that will surely impress even the most detail oriented of players. Comes with the original brown hardshell case, which has light scuffs. 4 lbs.
