This is an excellent player's grade B&D Serenader model with fancy engraved yellowed pearloid, and a Silver Bell tonering. This example is all original with the exception of a well repaired and structurally solid peghead crack. The rim assembly is constructed of maple, and has pearloid outer walls, and is painted silver inside; metal parts are original (tonering, tension hoop, hooks/nuts, Oettinger tailpiece); replaced screw on neck adjustment hardware; clover leaf flange on resonator; finish has been touched up on flamed wooden back. The neck has 19 frets, an ebony fretboard w/ pearl inlay and intonates and plays well. Brassing present on armrest, side of flange near heel.
