Nice! Perfect for the advancing player, this is a Bacon Montana Special Silver Bell No. 1 tenor w/ 19 frets; some restorative work, player's grade condition, a great player and sounder! The rim assembly is all original with the exception of a newer No Knot tailpiece, and has a no-hole silver bell tonering; hairline surface separation on end of dowel; resonator features the original f-hole flange, and has the original plaque; considerable shrinkage present of ivoroid, as well as surface wear, and large "scuff" mark in the 5 o'clock position; missing one thumb screw. The 23" scale "white holly" neck features an ivoroid fingerboard & peghead overlay w/ painted engravings, and is outfitted with new Gotoh tuners; peghead overlay has warped slightly, and there is considerable wear to the back of the neck as well as a filled separation of the center laminations; mild wear to original frets.
